My name is Reto Stalder, I am a trained designer, actor and financial blogger.
While researching for a theater production, I bought my first stock – that was Apple, by the way, which I still have in my portfolio – and since then the topic of finance has never left me. Although I hardly buy individual stocks anymore, but almost exclusively ETFs and index funds.
Since the beginning of 2020, I have been writing about my journey from savings account owner to private investor on my Swiss financial blog. I teach the basics of investing and take a close look at innovations from smartphone banks, robo-advisors, brokers and pillar 3a providers.
Due to my work as an actor with changing employers, my part-time workload and my part-time self-employment, pension topics also play an important role on my Swiss financial blog.
In 2022, I completed my training to become a certified investment advisor IAF and can therefore offer FIDLEG-compliant investment advice.
One year later, I completed my training as a certified financial advisor IAF as the best in my year. This means I can also provide more comprehensive advice in the areas of pensions, real estate, insurance, taxes and law.
In 2024, I was awarded first place in the“Financial Advisor of the Year” competition.
