Letztes Update: 13. January 2024
You’re often on the road for longer periods of time in the car or on the train, staying at the gym, then you can super use this time and educate yourself with financial podcasts on the side. I’ll show you here which German-language podcasts are worth listening to. All of the recommended podcasts revolve around taking your finances into your own hands, taking the first step and setting up a long-term investment strategy. Or they deal with general financial and economic topics.
Most podcasts are available on iTunes, Tunein radio, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Deezer or Audio Now, etc. Your best bet is to look for them in your favorite app or check out their podcast websites. You can reach them by clicking on the images.

Financial Rocker
Who
Daniel Korth
What about
Thematically, it is about individual wealth creation, financial investment and also personal retirement planning. Daniel Korth is also a private investor and has been active as a podcaster, blogger, speaker and book author since 2015. This has already resulted in over 150 episodes.
He interviews experts, entrepreneurs, but also other private investors in the podcast. Some listener interviews are even innocuous and sometimes tatter a bit, but you can fast forward or just skip straight to the next episode. His older episodes are also recommended.

The financial vizier rocks
Who
Albert Warnecke and Daniel Korth
What about
The two have independently decided to take their finances into their own hands. They share their experiences with bankers, insurance agents and other financial sharks. The financial vizier (Albert Warnecke) is an advocate of a simple low-cost ETF strategy. The financial rocker (Daniel Korth – see recommendation above) also holds individual stocks and is interested in fintech topics.
Together they talk about a wide variety of financial topics and also invite guests from time to time. The older episodes are also recommended here.

Deffner & Zschäpitz: Business podcast from WELT
Who
Dietmar Deffner and Holger Zschäpitz
What about
While the podcasts above tend to be calm and benevolent, here the sparks sometimes fly, or at least the words do. Dietmar Deffner takes on the role of the bull, i.e. the optimist, and Holger Zschäpitz takes on the opposite position as the bear or pessimist.
Here, too, the focus is on long-term asset accumulation. The bets (where will the DAX stand at the end of the year? How high will the Tesla share price be in half a year?…), which the two close in every show, don’t really fit in, but are quite entertaining.
Every now and then, guests from the world of business or finance are invited.

Financial flow podcast
Who
Thomas Kehl and the financial flow team
What about
Financial Flow is the information and education platform for financial self-decision makers. In it, you’ll be encouraged to take financial responsibility and make your own decisions.
The team around Thomas Kehl was mainly active on YouTube before the launch of the podcast. The videos there are also highly recommended. The content and graphics are informative, well presented and understandable even for beginners.
The podcast explains the basics, talks to experts but also answers questions from listeners.

realmoney.tv podcast
Who
Tobias Kramer and Christian W. Röhl
What about
Echtgeld.tv is actually a format for YouTube. So if you’re just listening to the podcast, you can register on the website and download the great slides on each security as a PDF, which is very worthwhile.
Mainly single stocks but also ETFs and from time to time investment funds are discussed. Christian W. Röhl is mainly known for his blog DividendenAdel. His moderation partner, Tobias Kramer, publishes the trade journal “Der Zertifikateberater”. Both have been active in the stock market for many years in various functions and share their wealth of experience with the audience in an entertaining way.

Economy | DW – Deutsche Welle
Who
German wave
What about
This podcast is not primarily about investing, but about general business topics. It is, so to speak, the German counterpart to the podcast from Switzerland above.
The topics are very broad, for example, the tourism industry in times of Corona is highlighted or the own vegetable patch, which makes the trip to the supermarket superfluous. Often the topics are related to Germany, but also general topics and topics from all over the world are presented in a well-founded and informative way.
When
daily from monday to friday
